2013 NFL Mock Draft by Raymond | Picks 9-16
9. New York Jets: Dion Jordan, LB/DE, Oregon
The Jet have a lot of holes on their defense. Getting rid of Bart Scott and Calvin Pace and the lack of production on the defensive line allows them to get Jordan here at #9.
10. Tennessee Titans: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
The Titans recently signed Andy Levitre, so the need at offensive line isn’t as major as cornerback. or defensive line. The Titans lost Jason Babin and Albert Haynesworth over the past 3-4 years. They haven’t had a dominant lineman and Star would be a steal at 10 when he was expected a top 5 pick.
11. San Diego Chargers: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
The Chargers need someone to protect Philip Rivers. Warmack is a great prospect. He can go in and fill a big need that the Chargers have on the Offensive line.
12. Miami Dolphins: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
The Dolphins have got some new weapons to help Ryan Tannenhill. They could get a cornerback but this drafts deep at corner and draft best offensive weapon. Eifert has the ability to be a stud TE and would help Tannenhill develop and make Miami better.
13. New York Jets: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
The Jets gain a 1st round pick but lose their best defensive player in Darrelle Revis. They need a replacement and I am a big fan of Xavier Rhodes. Rhodes can learn from Cromartie who is considered a NFL veteran.
14. Carolina Panthers: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
The Panthers are looking to draft Tavon Austin. If it plays out with Buffalo, Miami and New York passing on Austin he should fall right into the Panthers hands.
15. New Orleans Saints: Barkevious Mingo, DE/OLB, LSU
The Saints are looking for a defensive run stopper and why not plug in the man who has been playing in Louisiana at LSU, Barkevious Mingo. Mingo has the athleticism and size to be a great OLB or DE
16. St Louis Rams: Kenny Vaccaro, S, Texas
The Rams lost Danny Amendola and Brandon Gibson. They now will need a WR to pair with Brandon Quick and Chris Givens. They did lose both their safeties so they need Kenny Vaccaro. They can draft a WR later in the draft.
