Updated February 8th, 2010 – Post Super Bowl Draft
1. St. Louis Rams:Sam Bradford, QB, OU
The Rams could go one of a two ways in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. First off they could go after their top QB which would either be Jimmy Clausen or Sam Bradford or they could go with Suh the top player in the 2010 NFL Draft. In this 2010 NFL Mock Draft I have them taking the QB because they don’t have a qb of the future and they need their guy. Sam Bradford is a good QB that would have potentially been the top pick if he went last year. If Bradford comes back healthy with a strong shoulder than I think he could very well be the top pick in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft.
02/05/10:I still have Bradford as my top pick in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft because I think he is the best QB available and he would have gone first last year than why not this year. Suh is still the best Player in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft but the Rams need a QB and Bradford is the best qb in this draft.
2. Detroit Lions: Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska
The Lions really need a stud LT in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. However, they claim they like Backus a lot. So in this draft I have them taking the top player in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft and a beast to help their defense. Suh not only will help the D-line but he will help the LB’s as well by making lineman double him allowing LB’s to fill holse.
02/05/10- Suh is the top player in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft and I have him going second here because he is the best player and doesn’t fill the best need here in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. I think that Suh is going to be a beast wherever he is.
3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Gerald McCoy, DT, OU
A lot of people have McCoy going second overall in their 2010 NFL Mock Drafts. In this Mock Draft I have him going to the Bucs because I have the Lions picking for need more than skill. McCoy is a beast in the middle and he can play both the pass and the run. He is definitely a top 5 NFL Mock Draft Prospect and I think he can impact the team immediately.
02/05/2010 – The Bucs get a great player here because the Rams take a QB with the top QB in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. If Suh goes first then the Bucs will not have a shot at McCoy. McCoy is a great pass rusher as well as run stopper. I see him as a sure fire top 5 pick in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft.
4. Washington Redskins: Russell Okung, OT, Ok State
The Redskins need a good OT to protect whoever their QB of the future is going to be. I think they could take Bradford with this pick but I say they pass on him with the 4th overall pick. Look for Okung to be the first tackle to go in the 2010 NFL Mock Draft. 02/05/10 – I see a lot of people have the redskins taking Sam Bradford or Jimmy Clausen but I am not sure if they will go QB this high in the 2010 NFL Mock Draft. I have them taking the best available lineman in this situation in order to protect whoever they take in the 2nd round of this 2010 NFL Mock Draft or Jason Campbell.
5. Kansas City Chiefs: Trent Williams, T, OU
The Chief spent a ton to get Matt Cassell now they need to protect their investment. So I have them taking my 2nd rated 2010 NFL Mock Draft Tackle. Williams is an athlete that can play the blind side for years to come. Look for him to be an anchor on this offensive line.
02/05/2010 – The Chiefs take an offensive lineman with this pick in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. Trent Williams is a good lineman from a good program. Some other options here would be Derrick Morgan as a top tier pass rusher as well as Anthony Davis or Bryan Bulaga.
6. Seattle Seahawks: Eric Berry, S, Tennessee
The Seahawks end up getting the biggest steal in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. Berry is a play maker and he can be the leader of a defense right away. He and McClain are considered to be the smartest defensive players in college football. Look for Berry to definitely be a top 10 pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. In this 2010 NFL Mock Draft I have him falling out of the top 5 but I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he were a top 5 pick.
02/05/2010 – The Seahawks get quite possibly the second best player in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. Berry is a great player and is considered to be like Ed Reed. The only reason that he falls this far in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft is that he is a safety and there is less of a need in the NFL for safeties than other D-Lineman as well as offensive lineman.
7. Cleveland Browns: Joe Haden, CB, Florida
The Browns have had some secondary issues over that last couple years. Joe Haden is my top rated CB in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. He is a shut down corner that could come in and start right away. The Browns just miss out on Berry here in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft but Haden is a shut down corner and he can help right away.
02/05/2010 – The Browns get the 2nd best DB in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. Behind Berry Haden is a great cover corner as well as a physical player. Look for him to be a top 10 pick in the this 2010 NFL Mock Draft.
8. Oakland Raiders: Derrick Morgan, DE, GT
I had the Raiders taking Bruce Campbell in my last 2010 NFL Mock Draft. However, I think that Morgan is a great athlete and that is who Al Davis likes. Morgan is the top DE in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft.
02/05/2010 – Al Davis Loves speed and combine workouts. I believe that he will put up good numbers at the 2010 NFL Draft Combine as well as impress Al Davis. Morgan is a burner off the edge and he is good against the run as well.
9. Buffalo Bills: Jimmy Clausen, QB, ND
The Bills have their coach of the future but now they need the QB. With Jimmy Clausen falling to them with this 9th pick of this 2010 NFL Mock Draft I have them snagging Clausen.
02/05/2010 – I have the Bills taking a QB in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft because they need a leader. Clausen can help them in the 2010 Season. However, they have decided to go with the 3-4 defense in the 2010 Season so I can see them going defense with this pick as well. Players like Jason Pierr-Paul and Sergio Kindle could be viable options here as well.
10. Jacksonville Jaguars: Brian Price, DT, UCLA
The Jaguars have a lot of potential to be a good team in the 2010 NFL Season. In this 2010 NFL Mock Draft I have them taking Brian Price here who is supposed to be a beast in the middle. This year is a very big year for DT’s as I have 3 of them going in the top 10 of this 2010 NFL Mock Draft.
02/05/2010 – Brian Price has a ton of upside in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. I see him as a good pass rusher as well as a person that can help stuff the middle. I think he would fit in well with a 3-4 because he is so quick off the ball as well.
11. Denver Broncos(Chicago): Rolando McClain, ILB, Bama
The Broncos started the season very well and then fell off near the end of the year. If either of the top QB’s fall to the Broncos here in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft Mcdaniels may pull the trigger on them. In this draft I have the top 2 QB’s going before the Broncos so I have them taking a LB. Rolando McClain is the top LB in this 2010 NFL Mock draft. McClain was considered by many to be the most intelligent LB and defensive player in the country. McClain will make an immediate impact in the 2010 NFL Season and be a leader immediately on the defense.
02/05/2010 – The Broncos get the best LB in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. McClain is fast to the ball and has a perfect build to be a tackle machine in the NFL. Look for him to work out well at the upcoming 2010 NFL Draft Combine and impress coaches. I think that he could even go higher than this but LB is less of a need the last couple of years because you can fill this void in the later round of this 2010 NFL Mock Draft.
