Raymond’s 2013 NFL Mock Draft

2013 NFL Mock Draft by Raymond Marceau updated 04/25/2013

1. Kansas City Chiefs: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan

After franchising Brandon Albert it seems that LT isn’t their biggest need. The Chiefs have just let go of Eric Winston and Albert may walk at the end of next year. Fisher seems like he will still be the #1 pick.

2. Jacksonville Jaguars: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M

The Jaguars need an offensive lineman as much as they need an OLB/DE. If I were the Jaguars I would select Joeckel. They need someone to protect Blaine Gabbert or a rookie quarterback.

3. Oakland Raiders: Sharif Floyd, DT, Florida

Raiders need help on the defensive line. Floyd is considered the best defensive line prospect in this year’s draft. They could look at Dion Jordan to replace Philip Wheeler but Floyd is a bigger need.

4. Philadelphia Eagles: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma

The Eagles need help on the offensive line. They will wait till the 2nd round or trade back into the 1st round for a QB. Johnson will be great to protect the Eagles QB Vick or a rookie. Even with Dion Jordan on the board they may still select Johnson because of the need

5. Detroit Lions: Ziggy Ansah, DE, BYU

Jeff Backus retired ant the Lions need a new tackle to protect Matt Stafford. I could see the Chargers or Dolphins trading up for Fisher, Joeckel or Johnson but if they don’t the Lions should pick Johnson. Since Johnson may not be their Ziggy Ansah would be great with Suh and Fairley.

6. Cleveland Browns: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama

With the signing of Paul Kruger at OLB it seems like the need at Linebacker isn’t that major anymore. Milliner will be great across Joe Haden and make their secondary great.

7. Arizona Cardinals: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina

The Cardinals need to upgrade their offensive line because they struggled in all areas last year on the offensive side. Cooper has been rising and some have him higher then Chance Warmack

8. Buffalo Bills: Ryan Nassib, QB, Syracuse

The Bills need a playmaker and why not pick the biggest offensive playmaker considered in this draft class. Austin is probably the biggest riser on draft boards. If not Austin, Nassib will be selected here.
