2014 NFL Mock Draft | 17-24

17.Baltimore Ravens- Zack Martin OT Notre Dame: It’s clear the roster losses last year hurt the Ravens. Flaco still has that huge contract that still doesn’t seem like that good of an idea. You better protect your multi-million dollar investment with a skilled pass protector in Martin.

18. New York Jets-Odell Beckham WR LSU: The Jets need a wide receiver bad if Geno Smith has any hopes of making it in New York Beckham needs to continue making plays as he did for the bayou bengals in Baton Rouge to make it big. He is quick and will need that to make up for his size disadvantage.

19. Miami Dolphins-C.J. Mosley ILB Alabama: Talk about great value. The dolphins get the best ILB and one of my top 10 players of this draft fall to them and a position of need. If the Dolphins can only put it all together they may challenge the Patriots yet in the AFC East

20. Arizona Cardinals- Derek Carr QB Fresno State: The safest QB in the NFL draft. Notice I did not say the best or future great. Carr is excellent mechanically and at making his reads. With Fitzgerald around he will grow quicker than the other QB’s out the gate but his ceiling is not as high as many other prospects.

21. Green Bay Packers- Ryan Shazier OLB Ohio State: One of Urban Meyers pride and joy players. He will make an impact and in a hurry. He has the ability to disrupt any play and be a factor even chasing the play from behind. Green bay gets another stud to pair with Clay Matthews

22. Philadelphia Eagles- Brandin Cooks WR Oregon State: Cooks is a speed demon and a sleeper in this draft for WR potential. The Eagles taking him is another perfect fit and in a short time Philli fans will be saying Desean who?.

23. Kansas City Chiefs- Marqise Lee WR USC: the last of the truly worthy first round pick grade wr’s . Lee showed so much at USC it will be fun to see how the quick turnaround Chiefs bring him into their team to make a further playoff push.

24.Cincinnati Bengals- Kony Ealy DE Missouri: Another fast draft board riser who may not be sitting here for the Bengals by the time the other teams pick. Ealy is a monster DE proving it time in and time out as the tigers made an impressive run through the SEC large part to his defensive pressure.
