6. St. Louis Rams vs WASH: Fletcher Cox, DT, Miss State
Reasoning: Rams have absolutely no wide receivers, they really improved their offensive line to protect Sam Bradford’s glass shoulder. Since Brandon Lloyd signed with the Pats, what’s better than to trade down, get a couple picks and get a franchise Wide Receiver, but I believe they can get a great Defensive tackle here to solidify that defensive line and have a great defense, plus the wide receiver depth in this draft is really deep.
7. Jacksonville Jaguars: Stephon Gilmore, CB, S Carolina
Reasoning: Corner back is a major need for this team, yes, they have Rashean Mathis but at the number two corner they have is Aaron Doss, Doss isn’t going to help much, and with Gilmore some see him as the number one corner in this draft, he is a great press corner and has great awareness and ball skills, he will do great in the Jaguars system and flourish.
8. Miami Dolphins: Justin Blackmon, WR, Oklahoma State
Reasoning: Well the Dolphins lost out on Peyton Manning and Matt Flynn, but they can get Ryan Tannehill or a Franchise Wide receiver which they traded away, Justin Blackmon can be great I believe, he is my second receiver actually, but I don’t see anyone taking Floyd before Blackmon, plus I believe in Matt Moore, they can also get a quarterback later in the draft.
9. Carolina Panthers: Michael Brockers, DT, LSU
Reasoning:The Panthers hit right on the button with Cam Newton, let’s see if they can do it again, their defense was ok last year, but a little soft in the middle, they will hope to solidify that with Michael Brockers, who is a complete monster and can play any spot on the D-Line, and I also think is a top-10 talent.
10. Buffalo Bills: Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame
Reasoning: The Bills did a great job signing Mario Williams and resigning Steve Johnson, getting their selves a productive pass rusher, and keeping their number one receiver, now if they want to compete in the AFC East they may want someone to pair up with Steve Johnson so Fitzpatrick has more than one target to throw to on the field.
