Tyron Smith, OT, USC
2011 NFL Mock Draft # 1 OT
I know that the secondary for the Buffalo Bills is aging and Leodis Mckelvin has not yet shown that he should have been a top 10 pick in the 2011 NFL Mock Draft. Patrick Peterson had a very good workout showing that he is the best CB and defensive back in this 2011 NFL Mock Draft. He is 220 lbs and he ran a sub 4.4 40 yard dash at the 2011 NFL Scouting Combine. I think Peterson is going to be very difficult to pass on but I think that the Bills have other bigger needs in this 2011 NFL Draft such as QB, OT, and Defensive line.
With this pick I think that if Cam Newton were available he would be the pick in this 2011 NFL Mock Draft. However, because Newton is off the board I think they pass on Gabbert and look into players such as Robert Quinn (2011 NFL Mock Draft #1 DE) and Marcell Dareus (2011 NFL Mock Draft #1 DT), and Tyron Smith (2011 NFL Mock draft #1 OT). A lot of people are mocking Von Miller (2011 NFL Mock Draft #1 OLB) to the Bills but I have him going 2nd overall in this most recent update. When it is all said and done I think this pick could be Miller, Peterson, or one of the QB’s. However, I think they may trade out of this pick an d if that is the case I think that they will take Tyron Smith who may be the biggest need for the Bills in the 2011 NFL Season. So I am going out on a limb because every year it seems like an OT goes in the top 5 and the Bills are a good fit for an OT.
