4. Cincinnati Bengals (2011 NFL Mock Draft)

Blaine Gabbert, QB, Missouri

2011 NFL Mock Draft #2 QB

For a team picking fourth overall in the draft, the Bengals really do not have a list of glaring needs on paper. Former top pick Andre Smith has been a major disappointment, and has been shuffled around the offensive line so offensive tackle could be an option. Both Pat Sims and Domata Peko are good players; however Nick Fairley is a supreme talent and will be too hard to pass up in this situation.

However, this may be the toughest pick in the entire 2011 NFL Mock Draft because we don’t know what their QB situation is. I think at this point we are all presuming that Carson Palmer is on the outs and they need a new QB. However, they can’t trade him before the draft if the CBA issues aren’t resolved and therefore they may have to draft a QB just to have one for the 2011 NFL Season. In this 2011 NFL Mock Draft I have them taking a good QB who could come in and be the immediate starter for this team.
