Andrew Luck | 2012 NFL Mock Draft

Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford, 2012 NFL Mock Draft #1 QB

Height: 6’4”

Weight: 235

Grade:  Redshirt Junior

Projected (2012 NFL Mock Draft): 1st overall pick either by the team or via trade…

09/10/2010: Andrew Luck is only a Redshirt Sophomore but a very good one at that. I have him rated as the 2nd best QB in my current 2011 NFL Mock Draft. I barely have him ranked behind Jake Locker, Locker gets the edge because he can make plays with his feet. Even though Stanford played Sacramento St in their opener Luck threw for 315 yards and 4 Td’s.  If he keeps this up and decides to enter the 2011 NFL Draft I think he could have some top 5 teams looking at him. Potential teams for future 2011 NFL Mock Drafts are the Bills, Chiefs, Seattle and Carolina.

05/21/2011: Andrew Luck is considered by most to be the top overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. In my 2012 NFL Mock Draft I have him going first overall and being the pick of the draft. He is in a pro style offense and played under a very good coach in college. However, Jake Locker was considered to be the top pick in the 2011 NFL Draft and his stock fell as the 2010 season went on. All said and done as long as the Panthers aren’t picking first overall in the 2012 NFL Draft I think Andrew Luck is the Selection.

08/29/2011: Andrew Luck is considered still by everyone as the consensus first overall pick in every single 2012 NFL Mock Draft that I have seen. The only situation that I still don’t see Andrew Luck going first overall is if someone that has recently drafted a QB picks first overall and trades out of the pick. All said and done as long as Andrew Luck has the year he is projected to have and also decides to declare for the NFL I see him as being the first overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.
