08/26/2011: I have Andre Branch currently as a first round draft pick in my 2012 NFL Mock Draft. He didn’t have great production last year with only 5 sacks and 8.5 tackles for a loss. However, he has the size to excel at a 4-3 Defensive End in the NFL and I think he could definitely be a first rounder if he has a good senior year with Da’Quan Bowers now in the pros. All in all I think if he steps up his production like he should he will be a late first round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. However, keep in mind that this first round prediction is based on what I think Andre Branch can do this year but he still has to come out and prove that he is a first round NFL Draft prospect. He will be competing with Brandon Jenkins and Devin Taylor to be the third Linebacker of the board in the 2012 NFL Draft. He currently is that third Linebacker off the board in my 2012 NFL Mock Draft.
