6. St. Louis Rams via WASH: Fletcher Cox, DT, Miss State

Cox is a sure tackling lineman with great upper body strength. He comes off the ball quickly and is untouchable in the gaps. It’s rumored the Rams aren’t thrilled with Blackmon and see the talent and depth in this draft at WR. Besides the acquired Langford, the Rams are short at DT. In this draft the talent drops off considerably after the first 4-5 DT’s. If the Rams can trade back, they’ll do so for more picks and the chance to draft Poe, Brockers, or Worthy.
7. TRADE:Philadelphia Eagles Via Jax: Morris Claiborne, CB, LSU
Jax Gets 15th Pick and Eagles 2nd and 4th Round Picks
Philadelphia has a full roster and a slew of picks. Jacksonville is looking to trade back and won’t ask for a high price tag. Samuel wants out of Philadelphia and DRC may not be the solution at the #2 corner. Claiborne has the ability to be a true shut down corner. He has quick hips and speed and provides blanket coverage. Claiborne possesses good size and strength and puts a heavy hit on a ball carrier.
8. Miami Dolphins: Ryan Tannehill, QB, Texas A&M
Tannehill will be reunited with his college coach, Sherman. He is extremely athletic with great mobility. He has a cannon for an arm but needs to work on his accuracy past 15 yards.
9. Carolina Panthers: Justin Blackmon, WR, Oklahoma State
Blackmon is a special talent, but scouts realize he isn’t on par with A.J. Green or Calvin Johnson. Some scouts claim he doesn’t even provide the upside of Julio Jones. He is a talent that has great game speed and strength. He is a physical receiver who uses his hands to separate from the corner. Blackmon can run the outside or slot and has the footwork to run routes and get open for a scrambling QB.
10. Buffalo Bills: Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame
The Bills say they can get the job done with LT’s on their current roster. If so, look for them to add more weapons. Floyd is the complement to Johnson the Bills desperately need. He’s a huge athletic, frame with excellent speed.
