2012 NFL Twitter Live Draft Picks 6-10 of the Compilation Mock Draft
6. Trade: St. Louis Rams: Riley Reiff, WR, Oklahoma State
Pick made by Hunter
St. Louis has a couple of options with this selection. One of the favorite alternatives I like with this selection would be Michael Floyd. However, in the end I think they need to protect the QB and help with the running game and Reiff would do just that.
7. Jacksonville Jaguars: Melvin Ingram, DE/OLB, South Carolina
Pick made by Dave
The Jaguars improve their defense with this pick. I like this pick as Ingram has the ability to rush the passer and even drop back into coverage. All in all I worry a little about Ingram because of his size but think he is a top 10 talent.
8. Miami Dolphins: Nick Perry, DE, USC
Pick made by Eman
Most draft analysts have a late 1st to early 2nd round grade on Nick Perry. Eman however has him going in the top 10 with this live pick. After making the selection he rocked the #draftcrush tag. While I personally like Perry more than most (hope he goes to the Titans at 20) I don’t think he is a top 10 selection. Therefore, I think this is a bit of a reach.
9. Carolina Panthers: Fletcher Cox, DT, Miss St.
Pick made by Hunter
I am a huge fan of Fletcher Cox. I think that he is the most versatile defensive lineman in this 2012 NFL Draft. I think he has the ability to even play defensive end in some 4-3 schemes if he needed to. With that being said I think he should be the top DT off the board and I have that occurring with this selection.
10. Buffalo Bills: Courtney Upshaw, DE, Alabama
Pick made by Dave
Dave is the Buffalo Bills fan not myself. With that being said I am surprised that they passed on Quinton Coples with this selection. Hearing that the Bills are moving to a 4-3 I think Coples is the best fit myself but he has been seen as lazy and to have a poor work ethic… while Upshaw is the opposite (Sleeper pick here Ryan Tannehill …. The Bills seem to shock people each year).
