21. Cincinnati Bengals: Cordy Glenn, G/T, Georgia
Hunter’s Selection
The Titans pass on Cordy Glenn so the Bengals are happy to snag him. He has the ability to play Right Tackle and guard at the next level. I think he will be a good value pick here.
22. Cleveland Browns via ATL: Janoris Jenkins, CB, N Alabama
Dave’s Selection
I think that of anyone in the draft Jenkins could fall the most for the talent that he has. I believe that skill wise he is a top 10 talent with skills just behind Morris Claiborne. With that being said the Browns need someone to pair up with Haden so as long as they can keep him locked down I will be ok with this pick.
23. Detroit Lions: Jonathan Martin, OT, Stanford
Eman’s Selection
The offensive line is an area of concern for the Lions. Martin addresses a need for the Lions in this 2012 NFL Draft.
24. Pittsburgh Steelers: Dontari Poe, DT, Memphis
Hunter’s Selection
Poe is considered by some to be a top 10 selection. While I don’t believe he will/should be a top 10 pick I do think he will go ahead of Michael Brockers in the draft. So I think this is a bit of a steal for the Steelers as he can play inside in the 3-4 or he has the ability to play a 3-4 End 5 tech as well.
25. Denver Broncos: Devon Still, DT, Penn St
Dave’s Selection
The Broncos continue to build an already very good defense with this selection.
26. Houston Texans: Stephen Hill, WR, Georgia Tech
Eman’s Selection
The Texans take the workout warrior with this pick. I don’t hate or love the pick because no one knows what Hill will do at the next level.
27. New England Patriots via NO: Mark Barron, S, Alabama
Hunter’s Selection
Even though the Patriots made it to the Super Bowl their defense still needs a lot of help. Barron can do that in the secondary right away.
28. Green Bay Packers: Andre Branch, DE/OLB, Clemson
Dave’s Selection
Outside of Clay Matthews the Pack have no pass rush. WIth a solid combine his stock is on the rise. He’s a good pass rusher and fits well here.
29. Baltimore Ravens: Peter Konz, C, Wisconsin
Eman’s Selection
If a team chooses to increase the interior of their offensive line I will never rip on the selection…
30. San Francisco 49ers: Alshon Jeffery, WR, South Carolina
Hunter’s Selection
The San Francisco 49ers need to get some top tier WR. I know that a lot of people are not high on Alshon Jeffery anymore, I however believe he is still a 1s round talent.
31. New England Patriots: Whitney Mercilus, DE, Illinois
Dave’s Selection
I think the Patriots need to get some legit pass rushers to get after the QB. So the Patriots get a 1 year wonder who could excel in Bill’s system.
32. New York Giants: Lamar Miller, RB, Miami
Eman’s Selection
The Giants select a burner of a RB in this 2012 NFL Draft. I don’t know if I like the pick as far as a need goes… but I think Miller is a value and can bring a new speed to the offense.
