22. Trade: Denver Broncos: Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame
Elway gets Manning his next go-to guy. Floyd, Decker, and Thomas could turn the Broncos into a SB contending offense. They send a 4th this year, and a 4th next year to Cleveland, which warms Heckertt’s heart
23. Detroit Lions: Stephon Gilmore, CB, S Carolina
Lions get a guy that will help eliminat the hole that is Eric Wright.
24. Pittsburgh Steelers: Jerel Worthy, DT, Michigan St
Steelers have to begin thinking of rebuilding their once vaulted defense. Worthy fits them perfectly as a bulky, run stopper.
25. Trade: Chicago Browns: Mike Adams, T, Ohio St
The Browns address the huge hole at RT. Adams, projected by some as a LT, moves the right side in Cleveland. The knock on him is effort and quickness. Being on the right will be able to help hide this, and gives Cleveland great bookends.
26. Houston Texans: Kendall Wright, WR, Baylor
RG3’s former target becomes Schaub’s #2. Great piece to help build on last years playoff appearance.
27. New England Patriots: Andre Branch, DE, Clemson
Belicheck’s ideal size and speed for a pass rusher
28. Green Bay Packers: Peter Konz, C, Wisconsin
Pack gets Wells’replacement.
29. Baltimore Ravens: Dont’a Hightower, ILB, Alabama
The Ravens finally admit that Ray Lewis is in the twilight of his potentially HOF career. Hightower could be the perfect replacement to help that D no to miss a beat when Ray Ray retires.
30. San Francisco 49ers: Brandon Thompson, DT, Clemson
Thompson gives Harbaugh’s gang a physical run stopper as they gear for another run at the SB.
31. Trade: Cleveland Browns: Stephen Hill, WR, Georgia Tech
Browns get another target for Colt McCoy, which may spell the end of the Massaquoi experiement. Heckertt usually doesn’t like to part with picks, but having picked up extra 2013 picks in trading down earlier, he’s okay with parting with a late rounds this year and 2nd round pick in 2013 to move down 6 spots .
32. New York Giants: Doug Martin, RB, Boise State
The Giants get their replacement for Brandon Jacobs. He may be a bit of a reach in round 1, but the Giants see the Colts and Bucs coming up in round 2 and both are RB needy in this draft.
