Santos Gonzalez 2012 NFL Mock Draft!
2012 NFL Mock Draft 04/25/2012
1.
Indianapolis Colts |
QB, CB, DT, OL, S |
QB Andrew Luck-Stanford |
The Colts are starting a whole new regime, with the displacement of many veterans including Peyton Manning there is no reason this team should not take the highly anticipated Andrew Luck of Stanford to replace the QB position in Indy. Don’t be surprised is Jim Irsay takes RG3 instead; he tends to make bonehead moves.
2.
Washington Redskins * |
QB, WR, CB, ILB, G |
QB Robert Griffin III-Baylor |
RG3 is probably the most dynamic and explosive QB we have ever seen come through the draft. His athleticism is remarkable and that’s why the Skins’ gave up so much just get in position for a franchise QB. As stated above this could be Luck.
3.
Minnesota Vikings |
OT, CB, WR, S, G |
Justin Blackmon WR- Oklahoma State |
The first 3 picks in the draft have been pretty solid since the Rams traded the #2 pick. Kalil is the best answer for the Vikings, even though they have a lot of needs and capable players are available that’s why I see them going with a “game changer.
4.
Cleveland Browns |
WR, OL, OLB, CB, S |
RB Trent Richardson-Alabama |
The Browns have a hard pick here, they are faced with 4 options. I see Richardson as the best approach, especially after losing Hillis to the Chiefs. Blackmon also makes sense, but the Browns also host the 22nd pick where a good/great receiver could still be in play. Defensively, Claiborne could solidify their backfield with a tandem probably just as good as the Gang Green but lastly they are very intrigued by QB Tannehill from A&M. All 4 options are viable here.
5.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers |
CB, S, ILB, RB, G |
CB Morris Claiborne-LSU |
The Bucs are in the same boat here, with Richardson off the board the CB out of LSU makes the most sense. They had a big splash in Free Agency but even with the addition of Eric Wright, I believe Talib might not be their long Coach Morris put up with his antics, not Schiano say no, and Barber is reaching retirement. Claiborne would be with the team for the long haul.
