Ray’s 2014 NFL Mock Draft Picks 11-20
11. Tennessee Titans: Justin Gilbert, CB, Oklahoma State
The Titans lost Cortland Finnegan before last season and this free agency lost Alterraun Verner. The lack of CB makes Gilbert an easy selection at 11. Gilbert to some is considered the #1 CB but will start for the Titans week 1.
12. New York Giants: Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan
The Giants had a tough time keeping Eli Manning off his butt last season. The offensive line needs to be upgraded. Lewan would’ve been a top pick in last years draft and should be a good OT for the Giants.
13. St. Louis Rams: Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, FS, Alabama
The Rams defense has a lot of pieces to be a dominant defense. They need a FS and Clinton-Dix could be the piece they need to be considered a top 3-5 defense. They addressed OT need at 2 and get Clinton-Dix at #13.
14. Chicago Bears: Aaron Donald, DT, Pittsburgh
The Bears defense was one of the worse last season. Donald seems like he can be absolute steal for the Bears if he is as dominant in the NFL as he was last season at Pittsburgh.
15. Pittsburgh Steelers: Kyle Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech
The Steelers were hoping that Odell Beckham slipped to them at #15. They need some help at CB. Ike Taylor is getting old and the Steelers will need a replacement for him. Fuller has flown up draft boards and can be a top 15 pick.
16. Dallas Cowboys: Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M
Dallas and Texas as a whole get what they wanted. Johnny Football staying in the state of Texas. Manziel could see a huge fall in the draft and Jerry Jones needs to make a splash. Manziel would be a good fit in Dallas and will back up Romo.
17. Baltimore Ravens: Calvin Pryor, FS, Louisville
The Ravens lost a lot of free agents in last years off-season. Ed Reed was missed and the position hasn’t been filled. Pryor can be teamed with Matt Elam and could be a good duo at the safety positions.
18. New York Jets: Anthony Barr, OLB, UCLA
The Jets defense last season saw great play from Muhammad Wilkerson and Sheldon Richardson. Barr at one time was considered a top 3 pick but like the QB prospects has fallen far. The Jets have Quinton Coples but need another pass rusher on the opposite side. Rex Ryan would be in a fantasy world if Barr fell to the Jets.
19. Miami Dolphins: Zach Martin, OT, Notre Dame
The Dolphins lost 2 starters after the whole Incognito-Martin scandal. Luckily they signed Brandon Albert to be there new LT but need a RT now. Martin would help the struggling offensive line that has failed to protect Ryan Tannenhill.
20. Arizona Cardinals: Derek Carr, QB, Fresno State
The Cardinals had a great turn around season and just missed making the playoffs. The defense had a tremendous season and the offense wasn’t to far behind. Arians loves the spread offense and Carson Palmer isn’t the QB to lead this team to a Super Bowl run. Carr, who had an amazing career at.
