Pre-Free Agency with Trades.
2012 NFL Mock Draft Updated on 04/18/2012 By Patrick Schuster
1. Indianapolis Colts: Andrew Luck, QB-Stanford
Stanford….no brainer as the Colts prove to be the luckiest franchise of the modern era adding the next great franchise QB to replace a Hall of Famer. Luck is the real deal and once the Colts restock other positions a return to the playoffs is imminent.
2. TRADE: Washington Redskins Via Rams: Robert Griffin III, QB, Baylor
Redskins mortgaged the future for the Heisman winner. RGIII appears to be the real deal and should fit nicely into the offense which has been lacking a QB of his skill set for awhile.
3. Minnesota Vikings: Matt Kalil, OT-USC
Vikings could go one of three ways here but protecting the franchise QB and filling the huge whole at LT should be top priority, that is unless someone foolishly offers them a top of picks to move up to take Tannehill.
4. Cleveland Browns: Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama
Don’t move up to take Tannehill please instead draft Richardson and give your team a fighting chance. Richardson as A.P. like skills and will allow you to create a ball control offense.
5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Morris Claiborne, CB, LSU
Ideally will be mentored by Rhonde for a year or two then become a leader of the secondary and defense.
