2013 NFL Mock Draft by Ian | 25-32
25) Seattle- Damontre Moore DE Texas A&M
Damontre Moore aka Damoster had a horrible combine. He has a high motor but is not a superior athlete. That being said, the Seahawks defense would get the most of out Moore and his high motor.
26) Green Bay- John Banks CB Miss St
No more Charles Woodson in Green Bay means they have an opening in the secondary. Banks didn’t make a huge impression at the combine but he was effective during his time at Miss St and could play CB or S in the NFL. Versatility is always a good thing.
27) Houston- Keenan Allen WR Cal
Andre Johnson is constantly double teamed. With no other true receiving threat on the roster, Houston should be in the market for a #2 WR.
28) Denver- Manti Te’o ILB Notre Dame
The media jumped all over Te’o’s combine results. The one true thing they said was Te’o is not a 3 down linebacker. Despite his number of interceptions this past season, he will not be able to cover backs and tight ends. Denver doesn’t need help on 3rd down, they need help stopping the run which is Te’o’s strong point.
29) New England- Eric Reid S LSU
Unless a free agent safety is signed, secondary is a need for New England. Drafting Reid allows the Patriots to move McCourty back to corner.
30) Atlanta- Datone Jones DE UCLA
Mike Nolan ran a 3-4 in Miami and before that in Denver. He used both a 3-4 and 4-3 last season in Atlanta. To me, the cutting of John Abraham might be a step towards the 3-4 defense. Datone Jones could play in either defense which is why he should appeal to Atlanta at #30.
31) San Francisco- Jesse Williams NT Alabama
Sopoaga is a free agent and Williams could step into his nose tackle role if not resigned. This pick could also be packaged with others to move up or be apart of a trade for someone like Darelle Revis.
32) Baltimore- Alec Ogletree ILB Georgia
Rated as my top ILB but off the field issues are going to hurt his draft stock. Ogletree can step in right away and as a former safety he excels in coverage.
