2012 NFL Mock Draft 2nd Defensive End
08/21/2011: The top 2 Defensive Ends in the 2012 NFL Draft are Quinton Coples and Donte Paige-Moss. Both of these Defensive ends are out of the University of North Carolina and will follow in the footsteps of Robert Quinn…a first round draft pick in the 2011 NFL Draft. In the 2012 NFL Draft as long as both players stay healthy and have productive years they should be the first two off the board. I see Coples going ahead of Paige because he has more size and length than Paige-Moss. However, Donte Paige-Moss may be the faster of the two and may be more likely to fit in both the 3-4 and 4-3 schemes better than Quinton Coples. All said and done this defensive line this year is going to be very very good and these two have a good chance of being starters in the NFL very soon. In my most recent 2012 NFL Mock Draft I have both of them as high first round NFL Draft picks.
