2014 NFL Mock Draft Picks 11-20 by DJ Boyer
11. Tennessee Anthony Barr Linebacker UCLA
Barr is a very raw and talented linebacker that is a converted running back. Extremely productive and active player who showed he could do more than just rush the passer this season.
12. NY Giants Aaron Donald Defensive Tackle Pittsburgh
The Giants bread and butter over the last decade has been the ability to move pieces around a deep defensive line. Donald is an undersized and active penetrator that will work at the NFL with a team that can keep him fresh. The Giants would be a great fit but look for cornerback and wide receiver to also be some positions the team looks.
13. St. Louis Justin Gilbert Cornerback Oklahoma State
Truly a value pick as the Rams have the pick of the litter when looking at cornerbacks. Gilbert is regarded as the top available so the Rams take the plunge.
14. Chicago Ha Ha Clinton-Dix Safety Alabama
Any help in the secondary would be a welcomed sight for the Bears. Fans still have nightmares watching the team give up big play after big play late in 2013..
15.Pittsburgh Odell Beckham Jr. Wide Receiver LSU
Pittsburgh is showing a lot of interest in Beckham after losing Mike Wallace and Emmanuel Sanders in back to back seasons. Darqueze Dennard is a physical corner that fits the Steelers style of play and nobody would be surprised if that was the direction the Steelers go.
16.Dallas Timmy Jernigan Defensive Tackle Florida State
Jernigan or Donald are the two lineman the Cowboys covet and Donald is off the board here. Jernigan is a presence that can play nearly anywhere along the line and the Cowboys have multiple holes to fill.
17. Baltimore Calvin Pryor Safety Louisville
We know the Ravens took Matt Elam as their top pick last year and his rookie campaign was a success. The Ravens currently have Darian Stewart penciled in to start with Elam in 2014. With a top flight talent like Pryor available and Jimmy Smith starting to come into form the Ravens secondary is starting to look like a strength rather than a weakness.
18. NY Jets Darqueze Dennard Cornerback Michigan State
Wide receiver or any offensive playmaker is probably the biggest need but you know Rex Ryan wants another cornerback and the Jets struck out trying to add a big name there during free agency. With only one corner off the board the Jets would look there and address the offense in later rounds.
19. Miami Taylor Lewan Offensive Tackle Michigan
Even with the signing of Branden Albert the Dolphins will be looking at drafting at least two lineman during the first half of the Draft. With Lewan on the board at this point the Dolphins would be foolish not to gobble him up quickly.
20. Arizona Kony Ealy Defensive End Missouri
There are a number of teams near the bottom of round 1 that need pass rushing help off the edge. With John Abraham turning 36 you better believe the Cardinals are one of those teams.
