Devin Taylor, 2012 NFL Mock Draft 3rd Outside Linebacker/Defensive End
College: Alabama
Height: 6’7”
Weight: 250 lbs
Projected pick: Top 25 Pick
08/26/2011: If Devin Taylor works out well at the NFL Scouting combine I could see him being a top 10 pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. I currently have him falling into the 20s in my 2012 NFL Mock Draft because he hasn’t proven yet that he should be a top 10 pick. However, with a 6’7” frame and sub 4.7 40 speed I think he could be extremely disruptive. Additionally with that frame and size he would have the ability to not only play Defensive End in the NFL but also be a rush linebacker with a quick first step. He could very well play Rush Linebacker at his current height and weight if he continues to show that he can move well like a linebacker. If he goes to a team that plays a 4-3 in the 2012 NFL Draft he is most likely going to need to put on some weight. He is 6’7” and only 250 lbs so he could put on another 20-30 lbs easily with the his height. All in all I think Devin Taylor has the ability to be an elite talent in this 2012 NFL Draft and the 2012 NFL Mock Draft.
04/07/2012: Taylor is a big guy with a lot of potential. He went back to school so will be in the 2013 NFL Draft.
