Dallas Cowboys 7 Round 2013 NFL Mock Draft
The Dallas Cowboys have been through a rough season ending with mediocrity once again. Both sides of the ball though, were very inconsistent and have many upgrades available, and many holes to fill as well. On the offensive side, the interior line was a major problem, upgrades at right guard and tackle are priorities this offseason. At the center position a more consistent player is needed, Phil Costa has been unable to stay healthy and is only an issue going forward. A backup running back and a quarterback should be addressed early in the draft as well. Defensively, the secondary and defensive line needs help too. Although Barry Church received a contract extension he didn’t exactly earn it, competition is definitely needed here again, along the trenches a true nose tackle should be addressed and replacements for veterans like Coleman and Spears are necessities. Brian Moorman was a capable pick up but his leg power has decreased and should be addressed either in the draft or after.

Round Seven: Pick 208
P-Quinn Sharp Oklahoma State- 6’1’’ 205
Jerry Jones has a knack for taking Arkansas players; the Cowboys also know they need to address their offensive line. Like last year’s Tyrone Crawford they are also looking for defensive linemen with great height and lighter than their normal 300 pounds. Quinn Sharp is a good pickup and can help with kickoffs and maybe long distant kicks. Of course there will be compensatory picks and hopefully they address DB with the extra pick.
