CJ Milner’s 2012 NFL Mock Draft Round 1 picks 6-10
6. St. Louis Rams(Via WASH): Justin Blackmon, WR, OK State
– This was a very tough choice for me as it probably is for most others when mocking a prospect to the Rams. Justin Blackmon gives Sam Bradford a number one WR that could put up similar numbers to Reggie Wayne.
7. Jacksonville Jaguars: Stephon Gilmore, CB, S Carolina
– This pick comes down to Gilmore or Justin Blackmon. Blackmon has a DUI on his record which could be the deciding factor for a very picky Gene Smith.
8. Miami Dolphins: Ryan Tannehill, QB, Texas A&M
– Miami is throwing out a smokescreen when they are saying that if Justin Blackmon is there, he is the pick. They want their guy to fall and that happens to be Ryan Tannehill.
9. Carolina Panthers: Fletcher Cox, DT, Miss State
-Either Fletcher Cox or Stephon Gilmore will be the Panthers’ pick if they are available. If neither are available, Carolina will probably trade down.
10. Browns Via Buf: Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame
– Trading from 4 to 10 would likely give the Browns an extra 2nd round pick along with a few other picks in later rounds. Michael Floyd would give Cleveland someone of Kenny Britt’s caliber.
