33. St. Louis Rams: Carlos Dunlap, DE, Florida
The Rams get their QB with the first overall pick in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. With this pick I have them taking a very good athlete out of a very good program. He falls to this pick because of the crazy depth in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft’s Defensive line.
34. Detroit Lions: Demaryius Thomas, WR, GT
The Lions traded Roy Williams so they need another WR to play opposite Calvin Johnson. Why not take another great WR out of the same school with this second round pick in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft.
35. Tampa Bay Bucs: Arrelious Benn, WR, ILL
The Bucs have a pretty good young QB but they need more weapons for him to throw to. Benn is a good WR that under produced this year due to injuries and his QB. I think he could easily be a first round pick but I have him falling in this 2010 NFL Mock draft because of the lack of need for a WR in the first round.
36. Philadelphia Eagles (Mcnabb Trade): Patrick Robinson, CB, FSU
The Eagles secondary isn’t getting any younger. They are going with a young movement on offense so I think they switch to some younger guys on defense. Robinson is a first round talent.
37. Kansas City Chiefs: Aaron Hernandez, TE, Florida
02/29/2010: Hernandez is a good pass catcher and I have him as the 2nd best QB in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. Hernandez can come in and take some pressure off of Dwayne Bowe and be another great red zone threat for the Chiefs.
02/15/2010: The Chiefs let their top touchdown receiver and spend a ton on a 1 year wonder for a QB. I think they need to give Cassell a good weapon in the redzone. Gresham was a solid first round pick until he got injured last year. In this 2010 NFL Mock Draft I have him falling a little because of his injury but I still believe he has the potential to be great at the next level.
38. Seattle Seahawks: Jahvid Best, RB, California
The Seahawks need a guy to run the ball in the 2010 season. Best is a very fast athletic back who can come in and be a playmaker for the Hawks. Look for them to be maybe looking for a bigger back later in the draft as well.
39. Cleveland Browns: Brandon Spikes, ILB, Florida
The Browns get a very good tackler with this pick. Brandon Spikes has dropped a ton and may very well fall lower than this pick because of his workout and his character issues. However, I think he has the potential to be a starter and a very good playmaker in the middle.
40. Oakland Raiders Jerry Hughes, DE/OLB, TCU
Hughes reminds me of a Sergio Kindle because of his size and speed. They both are fierce off the edge and have the potential to be very good pass rushers. Much like Kindle I see Hughes as a standup end as well as an OLB in the right defense. Look for Hughes to be a late first early second round pick. Hughes is a good option for the raiders because he is a workout warrior and he should work out well at the 2010 NFL Draft Combine.
41. Buffalo Bills: Tim Tebow, QB, Florida
Jim Kelly says he likes Tebow and he may not take him with their first pick but he would be willing to take him with this pick. So now that the Redskins picked up Mcnabb I have Tebow falling to the Bills and being picked up what is now the second day of the draft. It is going to be hard for him to sit through the entire first day at the draft but he is a winner and he will fight through it.
03/07/2010: The Bills have the 3-4 Defensive end they need because they drafting him with their first pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. I have them upgrading their OLB Position with this pick and getting a player that would have been a first rounder in nearly any other Draft.
42. New England Pats (Jax): Jared Odrick, DT, PSU
The Patriots have had some problems this year with their D-Line and getting pressure on the opponents QB’s. I think this also ended up hurting their secondary as well because they had all time to through. Odrick brings a good mix of pressure and run stopping abilities and would fit in really well with any scheme.
43. Tampa Bay Bucs (Chicago): Navorro Bowman, OLB, PSU
The Bucs need to protect their investment and Ciron Black is a beast offensive tackle. He will probably project out as a Right Tackle in the NFL But he is a mauler. He will help with both the run game as well as the pas protection.
