11. Kansas City Chiefs: David DeCastro, G, Stanford
With Charles coming back from a torn ACL, they need to protect him. I’m assuming a second tier quarterback will also get drafted in day 2, so they will need to protect a possible QBOTF .
12. Seattle Seahawks: Luke Kuechly, LB, Boston College
Too many times I’ve heard middle linebackers don’t go this high. Ask any team in the NFL if they would trade a top-15 first round pick for Patrick Willis, and you would have 32 yes’s. With Keulchy taken here, they can take a second tier pass rusher in round two, like Chandler Jones or Vinny Curry.
13. Arizona Cardinals: Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama
Richardson's fall ends here. As much as they would love to fill their o-line holes, Martin/Adams/Glenn are too much of reaches here, and having Richardson AND Fitzgerald on the same offense will make Kolb successful.
14. Dallas Cowboys: Michael Brockers, DT, LSU
The 'Boys were reportedly in love with Poe's combine numbers, and with him off the board they get the actual best defensive tackle in the draft.
15. Philadelphia Eagles: Dontari Poe, DT, Memphis
With Juan Castillo's 'tackle machine' need filled with the acquisition of Demeco Ryans, they fill another need with Fletcher Cox. Regardless of who are on the board here, Andy Reid drafts linemen.
16. New York Jets: Quinton Coples, DE, North Carolina
I believe this selection comes down to Coples or Alabama safety Mark Barron. Coples, apparent work ethic issues aside, is just too good to fall anymore. The Jets struggled consistently to get to the quarterback last year, and if Rex can motivate him, that problem goes away for the next ten years.
17. Cincinnati Bengals: Dre Kirkpatrick, CB, Alabama
The two corners starting opposite of Leon Hall last year were Nate Clements and Kelly Jennings. Clements has 1 or 2 years left and Jennings can not make plays on the ball. Kirkpatrick fills a need left by Jon Joseph.
18. San Diego Chargers: Mark Barron, S, Alabama
Bob Sanders didn't do much last year in San Diego, and the Atari Bigby signing will improve their special teams, but won't improve their secondary. Barron will for years to come.
19. Chicago Bears: Kendall Wright, WR, Baylor
Even with the signing of Brandon Marshall, they still need to give Cutler more weapons. Wright can fill the void that was unfortunately left by Knox's injury. Mike Tice seems to like Webb to much to draft John Martin here.
20. Tennessee Titans: Courtney Upshaw, OLB/DE, Alabama
With the additions of Upshaw and Wimbley, Tennessee is set on pass rushers. This pick may be a receiver if they want to start giving Locker weapons.
21. Cincinnati Bengals: Cordy Glenn, G, Georgia
Ottis Hudson is starting at guard for the Bengals this year if it isn't upgraded through the draft. Cordy Glenn fits their blocking scheme, so this should be the pick.
