08/26/2011: Vontaze Burfict is an ideal interior Linebacker for the collegiate and NFL Level. Vontaze Burfict is known for his competitive attitude on the field and gives it full go on every play. His strength is what most ILB strength is and that is making tackles at the line of scrimmage and helping stop the run. In regards to his pass defense… he has the ability to get back and speed but still needs to work on that aspect of his game more. Vontaze Burfict is my 2nd rated ILB behind Manti Te’o of Notre Dame. There are other top ILB in this 2012 NFL Draft as well in Luke Kuechly, Dont’a Hightower and Tank Carder. All in all this seems like it’s going to be a pretty good year for Inside Linebackers for the 2012 NFL Draft. As long as Vontaze Burfict and Manti Te’o decide to declare for the draft they will be my top 2 rated 2012 NFL Mock Draft Inside Linebackers. I currently have both of them as top 20 picks in my current NFL Mock Draft 2012.
