Tyler’s 2015 NFL Mock Draft | 11-20

2015 NFL Mock Draft Picks 11-20 by Tyler Lurkins

11.  Minnesota-Trae Waynes, CB, Michigan St.-Unless Cooper/White slide here, Minnesota will slide on WR. Waynes is a perfect fit for Zimmer. Combined with Rhodes, the duo could be feared in a division with top wide receivers.

12. Cleveland-Danny Shelton, DT, Washington-This defense will need to carry the team to victory. The front seven has seen some additions and subtractions, but none will be as dominant as Danny Shelton, who could have a Ngata type impact.

13.  New Orleans-Marcus Peters, CB, Washington-New Orleans has a ton of money and talent pumped into their defense. The cornerback position is such a huge liability, the Saints can’t afford to pass on Peters. He is wiping his character slate clean with great interviews, and completely destroyed the field on his pro day. Peters is a top 20 guy, and will make an immediate impact in New Orleans.

14. Miami-Todd Gurley, RB, Georgia-Many draftniks are saying Gurley won’t make it out of the top 10, and that may very well be so. Yet, too much talent sits in the top 10 to select a RB coming off of injury.

15. San Francisco-Kevin Johnson, CB, Wake Forest-This is a shade high for Johnson, but the Niners aren’t afraid to reach for talent. Though perhaps a bit on the soft side, Johnson is a superior cover corner with great size. This team is simply too weak at the corner position to keep up with the large Ram receivers, the excellent Cardinal receivers, and the precise Seahawk receivers.

16. Houston-DeVante Parker, WR, Lousville-With Andre Johnson gone, this team will need offensive firepower to keep opposing teams from stacking the box against the run. Parker is a physical presence who fights hard for the ball.

17. San Diego-Randy Gregory, LB, Nebraska-San Diego needs to bolster their pass rush AND find star power. With Weddle and Rivers showing a ton of displeasure with ownership, fans will need new heroes to root for. Not shying away from character issues, Gregory may be too hard to pass on here.

18. Kansas City-Andrus Peat, T, Stanford-Reid loves his mammoth lineman, though Flowers is more athletic, Peat is a more polished and versatile prospect. Peat will really compete hard for the LT job. However, he can play both G spots or RT, as he has experience at both G and T.

19.  Cleveland(via Buffalo)-Breshaud Perriman, WR, UCF-The Browns have too many needs to land a RT in the first round. They seem high on Perriman, and the Browns lack a deep threat down the field. Will they have the QB to get Perriman the ball down field is the big question.

20. Philadelphia-Byron Jones, CB, UConn-The Eagles are actively looking for a big, rangy, super athletic corners.
