1. Matt Kalil • 6-6• 306 • USC
Kalil seems to be a lock to be a top 3 pick at this point. He is both a solid pass and run blocker with good athleticism. He will most likely go to Minnesota and sure up the left side of the line for years to come: Top 5
2. Riley Reiff • 6-5 • 300 • Iowa
Reiff does not have the top tier athleticism that Kalil has. With that being said he is a very technically sound blocker with good size and strength. He projects to be a right tackle immediately with the upside to move to the left in the future: Top 15
3. Jonathan Martin• 6’6” • 306 • Stanford
Martin is a powerful blocker with pretty good athleticism. However, much like Reiff he projects to come in and be a right tackle with the ability to move to left tackle down the road. He has all the tools to start immediately and succeed: Top 25
4. Mike Adams • 6-7 • 323 • Ohio State
Adams is a good pass blocker with very good size. He tends to be over rated at times because of the elite size that he has. He projects to be similar to Nate Solder, of the Patriots, because of his longer frame and less powerful approach: Late 1st – Early 2nd
5. Zebrie Sanders • 6-6• 320• Florida State
Sanders does everything good but doesn’t seem to do anything great. He doesn’t destroy anyone at the point of contact but he gets the job done. Like many of the tackles in this draft he projects as a right tackle in the NFL but will most likely be an immediate starter: 2nd Round
6. Matt McCants• 6-6• 308 • Alabama Birmingham
McCants is not an athletic guy which he showed both at the combine and his pro day. With that being said he is an offensive lineman. He has good size and moves good enough to play right tackle in the NFL: 2nd -3rd Round
7. Bobby Massie • 6-6 • 316 • Ole Miss
Good overall college player with good strength. He tends to play a little high at times and in coming out of his stance. He isn’t overly athletic but moves well enough to get the job done: 2nd-3rd Round
8. Jeff Allen• 6-6 • 316 • Illinois
Allen played both tackle positions in college and may project to be a guard in the NFL. However, one of his strengths is pass protection and getting out of his stance quickly. That said he does tend to overextend himself at times leaving himself open: 3rd Round
9. Mitchell Schwartz• 6-5 • 318 • California
Schwartz is a good run blocker with good size. He tends to play a little high at times though which could allow defenders to get under him and use leverage. He needs to work on his feet and moving for pass protection. 3rd Round
10. Andrew Datko• 6-6 • 315 • Florida State
Datko’s biggest concern for NFL scouts will be his injury concerns. He has had shoulder problems since his junior year and has missed significant time due to them. All in all when healthy he is a very good offensive tackle who projects to be a starter if he can get back to the way he played in his sophomore and junior seasons. 3rd-5th Round
