St. Louis dodged a bullet after Cleveland picks Claiborne. Sam Bradford gets the elite wide receiver to throw to.
7. Jacksonville Jaguars: Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame

The Jaguars have a rookie QB but no true top tier receiving options. So I have them selecting the best available receiver in this draft. Blackmon is off the board but I don’t see a huge drop off from Blackmon to Floyd. Floyd does everything well and he showed at the combine that he can move for a 220 lb receiver. Other options with this pick would be someone that can get after the QB.
8. Miami Dolphins: Riley Reiff, OT, Iowa

The Dolphins apparently want to shore up their pittiful Right side of the OL. Reiff is the perfect selection. He’s a mauling run blocker, with good pass protection to keep who ever is the QB, standing up.
9. Carolina Panthers: Fletcher Cox, DT, Miss St.

This may seem like a reach at this point but I think it is a very good pick. I know that Poe is the big name of late and that Brockers was previously but I think that Cox is the most versatile. He is a 300 lb DT who had more production than either of the other 2 guys in college and he has the ability to get after the QB and stop the run. I think Quinton Coples and Melvin Ingram would also be acceptable players with this pick.
10. Buffalo Bills: Quinton Coples, DE, UNC

The Bills get a good scenario with the 3 top pass rushers on the board. This was a tough call but the Bills elect the physical freak here. He should start from day one and be an impact player.
