23. Green Bay Packers: Sergio Kindle, DE/OLB, Texas
03/22/2010: I previously had a DT with this pick but they have taken a few DT’s the past few years and do still have Pickett in the middle. So I have them taking a freakish athlete who can play either OLB or Rush DE.
03/15/2010: Dan Williams is a very good DT and considered to be the third top DT in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. I previously had Brian Price ahead of him but Price is not as versatile as Dan Williams and Williams can fit more Schemes. The Packers have tried a couple years to get a great DT in the middle and I think that they do it with this pick here.
02/29/2010: Anthony Davis struggled at the combine with athleticism….but he is an offensive lineman and if he can block it doesn’t matter. I have him dropping from 5 in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft to 23 here but I still think he is definitely a first rounder.
02/15/2010: The Packers finished strong in the 2009 Season but one of their problems was the offensive line. They had problems with both the run game and protecting Rodgers.
02/05/2010: The Packers have one of the top ranked defenses in the 2009 NFL Season so I have them going offense in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. Bulaga is a good OT that can help protect Aaron Rodgers who has been rushed and sacked way more than a QB of his caliber should be.
24. Philadelphia Eagles: Sean Weatherspoon, OLB, Mizzou
03/08/2010: Weatherspoon worked out very well at the combine and his Pro Day. He is big enough to play the interior as well as Sam or Will LB. He is the top rated OLB in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft.
03/01/2010: The Eagles get a very good player with this pick. He has the potential to be a D-end or an outside LB depending on where the eagles have the biggest need.
25. Baltimore Ravens: Jermaine Gresham, TE, OU
02/29/2010: I previously had Aaron Hernandez going here in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. After watching Gresham run well and workout well and the combine I think he takes over the top TE slot in the draft again. Look for him to stretch the field well and be an above average blocker for a Tight End.
02/15/2010: If Jermaine Gresham was healthy I would say he is the top TE in my 2010 NFL Mock Draft. At this time I have Hernandez surpassing him as the top TE because of his health and his ability to make plays. I have the Ravens taking Hernandez because they need another weapon for the Ravens young QB Flacco to throw to. I also think WR is a very likely option here but I have the top WR in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft already being taken.
26. Arizona Cardinals: Brian Price, DT, UCLA
03/15/2010: The Cardinals get a good DT hear with a very good motor. He doesn’t stop until the play is over and he is a very good inside playmaker. Look for him to be a lock in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft.
02/29/2010: I had the Cardinals taking an OT with this pick previously. With this pick I have them taking Dan Williams because he is a great player and he is falling late in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft.
02/15/2010: The Cardinals defensive line has improved over the years with the addition of Calais Campbell and some other notables. So instead of going defensive line I have them taking an athletic Left Tackle. Campbell is a very good tackle could be good at the next level and help both with the pass and run game in this 2010 NFL Draft.
27. Dallas Cowboys: Markuis Pouncey, C/G, Florida
03/10/2010: The Cowboys take arguably the best Interior Offensive lineman in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. Iupati out of Idaho may be the best Guard but Pouncey has the ability to play both Center and Guard.
02/29/2010: Graham is being looked at as a rush LB/DE. I think that Graham would fit in well with the ‘Boys because he can fit in and be another play maker with defense and the team that puts pressure on him.
02/15/2010: The Cowboys have been good of late and I have them taking a player that is on the rise. Weatherspoon is a good LB who has the potential to play opposite Ware and be a very good player. He could be a much higher pick in this draft if he works out well at the 2010 NFL Draft Combine.
28. San Diego Chargers: Ryan Mathews, RB, Fresno St
02/29/2010: I had Dwyer in this spot but with a slower 40 at the combine and all the questions about his hands and blocking I have him dropping. I now have Ryan Mathews as my 2nd ranked RB and he is a big RB that can do it all. The Chargers no longer have LT or Sproles so they definitely need to take a RB with this pick in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft.
02/15/2010: The Chargers need to make a decision in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. I have them going after the RB in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft to pair up with the little guy. I don’t think LT will be around next year so I have the chargers taking Dwyer and boosting their run game for the 2010 NFL Season.
29. New York Jets: Charles Brown, T, USC
I have the Jets taking a good OT here to help protect and up and coming QB. Sanchez played very well in the first Playoff game and more protection can only help.
30. Minnesota Vikings: Mt. Cody, DT, Bama
The Vikings have a very good defense but their interior lineman are getting older and I am not sure how long the Vikings will be able to keep both of them. Cody fits the mold of the Vikings defense very well as he is the best run stopper in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft.
31. Indianapolis Colts: Mike Iupati, G, Idaho
The Colts have a good offensive line for pass blocking but they could use a grunt up front in the 2010 NFL Mock Draft. Iupati is a good Guard who could come in right away and be a starter on this line and help the poor run game the Colts have.
32. New Orleans Saints: Everson Griffen, DE, USC
The Saints get a good Defensive end here at the end of round one. Griffen is a good end who could definitely be a first round NFL Mock Draft pick.
