13. Washington Redskins: Michael Oher, OT, Ole Miss
The Redskins get a very good Offensive Tackle here with the 13th overall pick. Oher was once considered the top overall tackle in the draft. However, he is known for taking plays off at times at times. But all in all he is a great prospect and could be a starter for years to come in the NFL.
14 . New Orleans Saints: Knowshon Moreno, RB, Georgia
The Saints do need to build their defense but Moreno is a great value here and might be a great pick for them in this situation. I think Moreno is the best all around RB in the draft and could be very good in the Saints offense.
15. Houston Texans: Malcom Jenkins, CB/S, Ohio St.
Malcolm Jenkins didn’t run a very good 40 at the combine and is now being considered by many to be a better fit at safety. So I have the Texans drafting Jenkins here but as a Safety not a CB for the 2009 NFL Season.
16. San Diego Chargers: Robert Ayers, DE, TENN
The Chargers get a very good DE here who can help them immediately in the 2009 NFL Season. I also think they could go after Rey M if he falls to them here in the 2009 NFL Draft.
17. NY Jets: Beanie Wells, RB, Ohio St.
The Jets need to build a lot of things of their team and they do need a QB. I think that Beanie Wells is to good of a talent for the Jets to pass up here in the 2009 NFL Draft.
18. Denver Broncos: Tyson Jackson, DE, LSU
The Denver Broncos have gotten two first round picks and a 3rd round pick for their franchise QB. So I have them building their defense more with this pick in the 2009 NFL Mock Draft.
19. TB Buccaneers: Darius Heyward-Bey, WR, MD
The Bucs get a very good play making WR here to help them in the 2009 season. He ran a great 40 yard dash and is a home run hitter.
20. Detroit Lions (Dallas): Brian Cushing, OLB, USC
The Lions go after a very good defensive player here. Cushing has the potential to go in the top ten but I have him falling because the great DE’s in the 2009 NFL Mock Draft. Lions will be thrilled to get a play maker like Cushing with the 20th pick.
21. Philadelphia Eagles: Brandon Pettigrew, TE, OSU
The Eagles get a very good TE here in the 2009 NFL Mock draft. Pettigrew is the best all around TE and he falls to the Eagles due to lack of need for the TE’s. He will fall like Heath Miller has in the past.
22. Minnesota Vikings: Josh Freeman, QB, KSU
The Vikings get a young talent here to eventually take over at QB. Look for freeman to sit for a year or two before becoming the starter.
23. NE Patriots: Vontae Davis, CB, ILL
The Patriots could go with another ILB to match up with Jerod Mayo the beast from Tennessee. But the top 2 ILB are gone so the Pats go after another great need and snag Davis. He is considered to be one of the best athletes in the 2009 NFL Mock Draft.
24. Atlanta Falcons: Louis Delmas, FS, W. Mich
The Falcons get a good safety here from a small school. Delmas has come out as the top Safety in this 2009 NFL Draft class.
