2008 NFL Mock Draft Round 3 Cont…

80. Houston Texans: Tavares Gooden, OLB

The Dolphins currently have Ronnie Brown who got Injured last year.  So the Dolphins go with Jamaal Charles who is a very fast strong RB from Texas. He could get some playing time in 2008 and did very well at the 2008 nfl Draft Combine.

81. Philadelphia Eagles: Shawn Crable, OLB, MI

The Rams just let Isaac Bruce go so they need to find someone young to step up and take that job.  Near the end of the 2007 season early 2008 Lavelle Hawkins was outplaying Desean Jackson.  Look for Hawkins to fit in well with the Rams offense.

82. Jonathan Goff, ILB, Vanderbilt

The Chiefs increase their secondary in 2008 with a great CB.

83. Minnesota Vikings: Beau Bell, ILB, UNLV

The Panthers got rid of their starting back for 2008 so they go with one here.  Ray Rice is a big RB that has the ability to run both inside and outside the tackles.  Look for Rice to get some carries in 2008.

84. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Justin King, CB, Penn St.

The Falcons need every position so why not give them a big OT from a good team to help protect their QB in 2008.

85. Washington Redskins: Charles Godfrey, CB, Iowa

The Patriots can always use another weapon on offense.  Finley is both a good block and big receiving Tight End for the Patriots to mix in with Watson in the 2008 nfl Season.

86. Tennessee Titans: Vince Hall, ILB, Va Tech

San Francisco needs a lot of help in the 2008 nfl Season.  They had trouble running the ball in 2007 and protecting their QB so they draft an OT for 2008. Brown is a fierce competitor and could get on the field in 2008.

87. Seattle Seahawks: William Franklin, WR, Missou

The only reason the Bills are taking Rachal here is because he is extremely good talent and probably should have gone in the 2nd round.  He is rated as the 2nd Guard in the 2008 nfl Draft.  So most likely he will go before this in the early to late second round.

88. Detroit Lions: Chris Johnson, RB, East Carolina

Frank Okam has fallen because of injuries and workout problems. However, I see Okam making an impact in 2008 and he can help one of the best up and coming defenses in the nfl.  Look for him to get some rotation time in the 2008 nfl season.

89. Pittsburgh Steelers: Owen Schmitt, FB, WVU

The Vikings are scared of first round receivers so they wait until the third round.  Caldwell is a very quick and fast receiver who could go well with a young receiving core in 2008.

90. Jacksonville Jaguars: Earl Bennet, WR, Vandy

The Panthers increase their line even more by picking up another tackle for 2008.

91. Chicago Bears: Nick Hayden, DT, Wisconsin

The Bears receivers aren’t good. They decide to give whoever is throwing the ball in 2008 another weapon in Paul Hubbard.

92. Green Bay Packers: Chris Ellis, DE, Va Tech

The Lions always need help on defense especially because of their big drop off at the end of 2007.  Calais Campbell most likely will not fall this far in the 2008 nfl Draft but he has here.  So the Lions snag him for his size and just because he is of first round talent in the 2008 nfl Draft.

93. Dallas Cowboys: Tom Zbikowski, SS, ND

The Texans help boost their defense for the 2008 nfl Season.

94. Indianapolis Colts: Steve Slaton, RB, WVU

The Bengals have had trouble running the ball at times.  So they draft a very good Guard to help them in the 2008 nfl season.

95. New England Patriots: Philip Wheeler, ILB, Georgia Tech.

I think Hart will make a Difference in the NFL because of his will to succeed.  Look for him to fall because of his size and speed.  However, I think he would complement Reggie Bush in the future when Deuce is gone.  Look for him to work some in 2008 depending on pre-season.

96. New York Giants: Chris Harrington, Texas A&M

I think Hart will make a Difference in the NFL because of his will to succeed.  Look for him to fall because of his size and speed.  However, I think he would complement Reggie Bush in the future when Deuce is gone.  Look for him to work some in 2008 depending on pre-season.
