32. Miami Dolphins: Carl Nicks, OT, Nebraska
The Miami Dolphins went with DE on the first chance in 2008. So the Dolphins pick up the OT available here who can have an immediate impact in 2008.
33. St. Louis Rams: Pat Sims, DT, Auburn
Pat Sims is fast and big as a defensive Tackle. With this pick they could move Carriker back outside and have Sims inside. Sims is a great athlete with great size who will be a big impact in the 2008 season.
34. Atlanta Falcons: Gosder Cherilus, OT, BC
Gosder Cherilus may have first round talent much like Carl Nicks. So Cherilus waits and waits in the 2008 draft and then the Falcons take him in the second round of the 2008 nfl Draft.
35. Kansas City Chiefs: Brian Brohm, QB, Louisville
The Chiefs picked defense with their first pick in the 2008 nfl Draft. Another great pick here would be to further improve the O-Line. However, they go with the QB that was supposed to be a top 10 pick last year but has dropped this year. Look for Brohm to come in and Challenge Brodie Croyle in 2008.
36. New York Jets: Devin Thomas, WR, MI State
The Jets May have more pressing needs than a receiver here. However, Thomas is first round talent and the Jets can always give their Sub-Par QB someone else to throw to in 2008.
37. Atlanta Falcons: Jerod Mayo, LB, Tennessee
Mayo is one of the top OLB in the 2008 nfl Draft. The need for linebackers isn’t that great in the 2008 nfl Draft so look for the Falcons to steal Mayo with this pick.
38. Baltimore Ravens: Sam Baker, OT, USC
They Get Good value on the experienced tackle out of USC.
39. San Francisco 49ers: Early Doucet, WR, LSU
Early Doucet did not participate in the 2008 nfl Draft Combine so he has dropped in a lot of boards. Look for the 49ers to snag him if he drops here because they didn’t get their receiver in the first round. This will be a great 2008 NFL Draft pick for the 49ers.
40. New Orleans Saints: Dre Moore, DT, Maryland
The Saints need to address the defense with nearly every pick in the 2008 NFL Draft. So the Saints take the top rated DT available to hopefully plug up the middle and stop some of the run in 2008.
41. Buffalo Bills: Kenny Philips, S, Miami
The Bills have some holes in their defense for 2008. So the Bills get the best available safety in the entire 2008 NFL Draft with their second pick in the 2008 NFL Draft.
42. Denver Broncos: Anthony Collins, OT, Kansas
Anthony Collins could probably go in the top of the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft. However, due to team needs he falls to the Broncos who are a run first pass second team and will be in 2008 as well.
43. Carolina Panthers: Tracy Porter, CB, Indiana
Tracy Porter is an unbelievable athlete and is flying up draft boards. Porter has made the first round in some drafts even with his blazing speed. I have him going to the Panthers in the 2008 NFL Mock Draft to help get their secondary younger and healthier.
44. Chicago Bears: Joe Flacco, QB, Delaware
The Bears pass on a QB in the first round of the 2008 NFL Draft. So they wait and wait and they get their pick of Joe Flacco or Chad Henne. The Bears go with the Big Armed Flacco to come in and take Rex’s place most likely late in the 2008 NFL Season.
45. Detroit Lions: Reggie Smith, CB, OU
The Lions wait and they get the CB/S Reggie Smith in the second round. The Lions can always use help in the secondary so Smith should make and immediate impact in 2008.
46. Cincinnati Bengals: Curtis Lofton, MLB, OU
I could see Curtis Lofton go much higher than this in the 2008 NFL Draft because of his athleticism. He might even be the best LB in the 2008 NFL Draft. So look for Lofton to get drafted maybe late Second early first round in the 2008 NFL Draft.
