Andre Woodson the 6’5″ 230 lb. QB at Kentucky is making a name for himself this year. Woodson threw for almost 500 years as a freshman completing approximately 62% if his passes as well as 2 td’s and 1 int. As a Sophomore Woodson took over the helm and threw for 1,644 yards and 6 Td’s while completing almost 58% of his passes.  Woodson then stepped it up as a junior where he threw for 3,500 yards and completed 63% of his passes while throwing a wopping 31 Td’s and 7 interceptions.  This year so far Woodson has thrown for 1,536 yards and 18 Td’s with only 2 interceptions.  If he continues to play this way he is projected to throw for 3,072 yards and 36 Td’s with only 4 interceptions.  He has led the Kentucky team to a 5-1  record so far.

Woodson is considered to be an a very good pocket passer because of his size, height and strength.  He is good at staying away from mistakes and as we have seen he has only thrown 2 int. this year while throwing 18 td. which is a very good TD/Int. ratio.  However, he is not going to bring much as far as scrambling and mobility. The two best QB’s in the Draft seem to reside in the state of Kentucky between Brian Brohm and Andre Woodson there seems to be some good Quartebacks.  So the team needs for Woodson are going to be similar to Brian Brohm’s.  The Bears, Falcons, Vikings, Panthers, Dolphins, Baltimore, and Tampa Bay. These are just some of the teams that either don’t have a true starting QB or their Qb’s are old and on there way out. I assume that of these teams the front runners for Woodson will be Falcons, Vikings, and the Dolphins.  These are the teams that are going to have the worst records I assume and they will have the first choice of getting the best talent.
