This years NFL Draft on April 26-27 had undergone a change.  Roger Goodell decided to shorten the first two rounds of the draft and push it back in the day. Instead of starting at noon the draft is pushed back to 3 p.m..  Secondly the first day will only consist of rounds 1 and 2 rather then 1,2, and 3 like they have in the past.  The biggest change however is that the time teams have to pick in the first round were also shortened: First Round is going from 15 minutes to pick to 10 minutes; Second Round is going from 10 minutes to 7 minutes; Lastly the rest of the rounds will remain at 5 minutes.  This change will make the owners and coaches make a quicker decision and will also make the draft move along much faster.  For those of you that are like me and just lay on the couch all day and analyze the picks will have to find something else to do from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday April 26, 2008.

Once again I would like to thank Benjamin Wengerd for the updates on this information.
