2011 NFL Mock Draft #3 QB

The Vikings do not have their QB of the future on their current roster. This pick could be one of many players in this 2011 NFL Mock Draft. There are a lot of good Qb’s in this 2011 NFL Mock Draft but only 2 that are a lock for the first round. The top 2 QB’s or Quarterbacks that will be taken in this 2011 NFL Mock Draft are Cam Newton and Blaine Gabbert.

After Newton and Gabbert it seems to be wide open. A lot of people don’t have Newton and Gabbert as their top two Qb’s in this mock draft I believe they will be the top 2 Qb’s taken. The next selections seem to be Mallett, Locker, Kaepernick, and Christian Ponder. A lot of people think that Locker is the most pro ready and Mallett has the most strength talent but has the biggest bust potential. A lot of people lately have been looking into Kaepernick and I believe he has as much upside as any other QB. He was taken from High School where he was a Wing-T Qb and due to his extreme athleticism was an outstanding college athlete and QB. The only reason I see the Vikings being hesitant of this pick is because they already have two very athletic QB’s. So in the end I think they go with Jake Locker who I still think has the ability to be a promising pro.
