Adrian Peterson has had an amazing season so far this year. Adrian Peterson has rushed for 1,036 yards so far this season which is an amazing feat for a rookie in an entire year. Peterson has had two games this year as a rookie rushing for over 200 yards and is the only rookie to ever have two games rushing over for 200 yards. Peterson also set a new NFL record, most rushing yards in a game, against the San Diego Chargers where he rushed for 296 yards and 3 touchdowns. Peterson now has 8 touchdowns on the season and is pretty much the only player producing on a struggling Vikings team. Look for Peterson to continue to be successful and dominate opposing defenses. Peterson was the 7th pick overall last in the 2007 NFL Draft going to the Vikings. It turns out that he is definitely going to be the rookie of the year and one of the best players to be drafted in many years.
