The Defensive Tackle position is not a glamour position in the NFL or at the college level. But over the last couple of years players like Suh and Nick Fairley have brought more attention to this position. Star Lotulelei has been very good this year actually outplaying his stat line (which most good defensive tackles do). He has been disruptive up the middle and holding his gap in the run game. More or less as a defensive tackle your job is to allow the linebackers to fill a hole and make a tackle or not allow your defensive ends to get double teamed. Lotulelei does both of these things very well and therefore I think he has the ability to be a star in both a 3-4 scheme or a 4-3 scheme on the defensive line. Look for Star and Jonathan Hankins to battle for the top overall Defensive tackle to be drafted in the 2013 NFL Draft.
