2012 NFL Mock Draft Updated on 03/28/2012
1. Indianapolis Colts: Robert Griffin III, QB, Baylor
His skill set may play better in a dome than in the elements at FedEx Field in Dec
2. Washington Redskins via STL: Andrew Luck, QB-Stanford
Colts rolled the dice and Shanny is the winner. Shanny sees Elway in Luck and also sees a potential Lombardi coming to DC.
3. Minnesota Vikings: Matt Kalil, OT-USC
In spite of trying to trade this pick, no team will part with with enough to make the deal. Kalil will help keep Christian Ponder off his back – we’ll see if this helps prove he was worth a high 1st round pick last year.
4. Trade: Dolphins: Ryan Tannehill, QB, Texas A&M
Ross, after failing to get Flynn, makes a crazy deal with the Browns to grab the QB he wants. Miami gives up a 3 this year to move up 4 spots.
5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Morris Claiborne, CB, LSU
Bucs get top corner, and Ronde Barber’s replacement.
