Santos’ 2012 NFL Mock Draft | 22-32

22.

Cleveland Browns *

WR, RT, LB, DL, RB

WR Stephen Hill – Georgia Tech

Stephen Hill has slowly moved into the 3rd best receiver in this draft, I believe he will have a great career with the Browns and can extremely help the Browns in a tough division. Whichever QB is playing for the Browns will love this guy.

23.

Detroit Lions

LT, G, C, CB, S, OLB

CB Janoris Jenkins – N Alabama

The Lions are really big on Jenkins even though his rank has slipped to the 2nd round in many mock drafts. But the Lions like him and troubled players so it makes a perfect marriage.

24.

Pittsburgh Steelers

OL, NT, CB, QB, WR

LB Donta Hightower – Alabama

The Steelers like the Lions need help on the O-Line but no one is available, NT Poe is still available, but after releasing Farrior, they need help and a young guy to learn and help with that defense. Hightower just fits the Steelers D.

25.

Denver Broncos

DT, CB, RB, WR, S

DT Jerel Worthy – Michigan State

DT is one of the biggest holes in this young defense, especially after losing Broderick Bunkley, they will really need to go DT here but I just cannot see this team not giving Peyton Manning weapons either Kendall Wright is available and will give them attraction here.

26.

Houston Texans

G, WR, NT, CB, S

WR Kendall Wright – Baylor

Texan fans will be happy with this pick, like Fitzgerald their star receiver needs help relieving pressure, Wright has kind of slipped a little in rankings but he serves a vertical threat that will really help in an explosive offense.

27.

New England Patriots *

S, G, CB, RB, OLB

DT Devon Still – Penn State

The Pats defense needs a lot of help and DT is definitely one, with fear of Green Bay taking him the Pats will first take this great DT from Penn State.

28.

Green Bay Packers

DE, OLB, CB, C, G

DL Jerel Worthy – Michigan State

The Packers were exciting on offense last year, but their defense was quite the opposite. A strong secondary but the Pack D could use help along with Goldie Locks in the line backing corp., and Funk Master Flex with the defensive front.

29.

Baltimore Ravens

OLB, G, DE, CB

OLB Shea McClellin – Boise State

This guy has been shooting up Mock Drafts and is a perfect fit to a good defense, Clay Matthews will appreciate this pick and offer a great complement to a good LB Corp.

30.

San Francisco 49ers

CB, DE, OT, WR

C Peter Konz – Wisconsin

The 49ers do not have many needs, Center is one of them but they are pretty sound elsewhere, they could add depth but Konz will be an immediate starter with a young line.

31.

New England Patriots

S, G, CB, RB, ILB

DE Courtney Upshaw – Alabama

Upshaw does not exactly have the size but he has incredible talent, Belichek could definitely bring a good pass rusher in to a defense that needs it .

32.

New York Giants

ILB, OLB, G, OT, C

RB Doug Martin – Boise State

The G-Men really need LB help, but no one is available at the end of the first round, after losing Brandon Jacobs he will really need to be replaced because Bradshaw cannot stay healthy. His stock has been rising and I believe this is a good fit for him.
