08/20/2011: Once again I see the top QB in my 2012 NFL Mock Draft and nearly every other 2012 NFL Mock Draft I have seen as Andrew Luck. A lot of people have Matt Barkley as their 2nd Ranked QB in Mock Drafts. I personally like Landry Jones a little better than I like Matt Barkley going into this 2011 Season. Though Matt Barkley plays in a good pro style offense and has a good arm I just see him being bunched in with the Brady Quinn and Jimmy Clausen bunch. I may be saying this because of the look of him more than his actual play but I like watching Landry Jones play more and think he currently has all the tools. He has a good frame with a strong arm that will transition well to the NFL. So even though my Mock Draft doesn’t currently show Landry Jones as my 2nd NFL Mock Draft QB he will be with my next NFL Draft Update. All in all I think there are 3-5 teams that could take a QB in this upcoming 2012 NFL Draft and I see three QB’s going in the top 15 of my 2012 NFL Mock Draft.
