Fantasy Football Quarterback Rookie Rankings

2015 Fantasy Football Rookie Quarterback Rankings

Every season there is a rookie QB or a couple of rookies that breakout and are top tier players that can help you win your fantasy football league. If you are looking for new NFL season betting markets for the real NFL Super Bowl these players may not be the ones that are leading their teams. However, if you are looking to win your fantasy football league with your friends, co-workers or just for money these players may be the ones that could help you do this in the long run. The thing with rookies at nearly every position is that they clearly might start slow but you want to make sure to hold on to these guys because the second half of the year they can be the difference makers.

Quarterback Rankings:

1. Marcus Mariota, QB, Tennessee Titans:

I know a lot of people have Jameis Winston as the top ranked rookie QB and for good reason. He has a lot better targets right now and he was the first overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. With all of this said I think that Marcus Mariota starts as a rookie and is successful as a 2nd QB. I think he will have games where he flops but also will have games where he rushes for a couple touchdowns and throws a couple touchdowns. Rookie QB’s don’t trust their arms as much so they run the ball. QB’s in the past like Vince Young, Cam Newton and Michael Vick have been good QB’s as rookies because of their running abilities.

2. Jameis Winston, QB, Tampa Bay

Winston was the 1st pick in the 2015 NFL Draft  and he went to a pretty good spot for him to succeed. He has a lot of big weapons at wide receiver an tight end.  Well I think he may  be about even in TD’s to interception for the year I think that as the year goes on he will get better and better. He will be a good player to get in Dynasty Leagues and may be a good starter in the 2nd half of the year for 2 QB leagues.

3. The Rest

Of the rest of the QB’s the only one that I could see getting a real shot is Bryce Petty because he is in New York. The other two talented QB’s as rookies are Brett Hundley and Garrett Grayson but they are behind two of the best QB’s in the NFL in Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees. The only other QB that could potentially step in is Sean Mannion for the Rams who is big with a big arm. However, none of these QB’s will be QB’s that you would want to draft in any type of league other than maybe a deep deep keeper league.
