Elisha’s 2013 NFL Mock Draft

2013 NFL Mock Draft by Elisha Ausch

Updated 03/21/2013

My name is Elisha Twerski. I’m from Milwaukee, Wis. I’m a huge sports fan and I follow Wisconsin teams (Packers, Bucks, Brewers, Badgers). Follow me on twitter @ElishaTSports

1. KC: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M

I think Andy Reid will try to fix the offensive line, and in order to do that he has to have the right protection.

2. JAX: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida

With Lotulelei’s recently reported heart condition, Floyd moves into the top spot as the best DT. According to reports Floyd is on the top 5 on every teams draft boards, and he has the play-making ability that the Jaguars really lack.

3. OAK: Geno Smith, QB, WVU

Smith separated himself at the combine as the best QB available in this draft. Carson Palmer has struggled since his trade to Oakland so it is time for them to draft his successor. Word is the Raiders really like Smith.

4. PHI: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah

The Eagles are moving to a 3-4 front but they lack a nose tackle so they will sprint to the podium if Lotulelei is still available.

5. DET: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama

Needless to say the Lions defense needs any help they can get, and it starts with a secondary that was torn apart last year.

6. CLE: Ezekial Ansah, DE, BYU

He played just 9 games in college and is still learning football but Ansah is as talented as anyone in the draft. Teams see possible Aldon Smith-like talent in this guy.

7. ARI: Matt Barkley, QB, USC

I don’t think that Barkley is 1st round material, but according to recent reports the Cardinals really like him and think they could develop him.

8. BUF: Bjoern Werner, DE, FLorida State

I don’t see him as a top-10 player but he is a play-maker who is NFL ready.
