DJ’s 2014 NFL Mock Draft | 6-10

2014 NFL Mock Draft Picks 6-10 by DJ Boyer.

6. Atlanta Khalil Mack Linebacker Buffalo

With the new 3-4 alignment Atlanta would be crazy to pass on Mack who is the perfect linebacker for this system. Greg Robinson or Jake Matthews are possibilities here or maybe even Sammy Watkins if he somehow falls past Oakland as an eventually replacement for Roddy White.

7. Tampa Bay Greg Robinson Offensive Tackle Auburn

Sammy Watkins is a target the Buccaneers would like to land and pair with Vincent Jackson. With Watkins off the board building the line seems to be the best thing they can do. Robinson looks to be the best run blocking lineman available and with Doug Martin coming back off of injury the Buccaneers feel this will help the offense get back to basics and take some pressure off of young Mike Glennon.

8.  Minnesota Derek Carr Quarterback Fresno State

You don’t bring in a guy like Norv Turner if coaching up a young quarterback is not something you intend to do. The Christian Ponder era in Minnesota looks like it is coming to a halt. Derek Carr seems to a quarterback that will fit the system more than Teddy Bridegwater and his stock is moving in the wrong direction.

9.  Buffalo Eric Ebron Tight End North Carolina

Even after the acquisition of Mike Williams from Tampa Bay the Bills are in need of young athletic targets for E.J. Manual. Ebron gives the Bills a top notch tight end who is an immediate receiving threat and the Bills have some bodies on the team that can help blocking.

10.  Detroit Mike Evans Wide Receiver Texas A&M

Mike Evans teaming with Calvin Johnson….yikes.
