Dennis Dixon: A top tier QB?

Dennis Dixon the Oregon QB is making a run at being one of the top QB taken in the 2008 Draft. Last year Dixon struggled at the end of the season and ended up throwing 12 TD and 14 int. Dixon has changed his game around this year and is now showing that he can both throw the ball and run the ball very well. So far this season Dixon has thrown 16 TD and only 3 int while also throwing for 1,728 yards so far. However, Dixon has another half where he is a big time rusher on offense as well. This year Dixon already has 416 yds rushing and 7 Td’s making his arms and legs both a threat. Dixon is being compared to Vince Young due to his ability to both run and throw the ball at the highest level. So yes I see Dixon in the top tier of QB in the Draft this year. My QB ranking right now is Matt Ryan, Andre Woodson, Brian Brohm, and then replacing Colt Brennan is Dennis Dixon the dual threat. Due to the need for QB this year look for Dixon to go late first or second round.
