Blake’s 2012 NFL Mock Draft | Round 2

33.       St Louis Rams – OLB Shea McClellin – Boise State

Reasoning: Lets face it The Rams line backing core is close to horrific. They also lost  Chris Chamberlin to the Bounty Plagued Saints.

34.       Indianapolis Colts – Reuben Randle, WR, LSU

Reasoning:The Colts lost Anthony Gonzlazez and Pierre Garçon, Reggie Wayne is aging, they’re going to need a future number one target for their new signal called Andrew Luck. Getting him in the second round is grand robbery.

35.       Minnesota Vikings – Josh Robinson, CB, Central Florida

Reasoning:The Vikings secondary is aging and horrible, they will need a new Corner to take over and try to shut things down, challenging I know, going up against Rodgers, Calvin Johnson and Jay-To-Marshall. But hey its a start.

36.       Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Doug Martin, RB, Boise State

Reasoning: Let’s face it, it’s no secret Tampa needs a true running back, Doug Martin can do it all, which is a huge upgrade over LeGarrette Blount.

37.      Cleveland Browns – Kelechi Osemele, G/T, Iowa State

Reasoning: The Browns badly need a right tackle to protect Colt McCoy and open up running lanes for Trent Richardson.

38.     Jacksonville Jaguars – Alshon Jeffery, WR, S Carolina

Reasoning: The Jaguars did sign Laurant Robinson but they still need a number one receivers, and Jeffrey looked good in college, let’s see if he is the receiver Gabbert has badly needed.

39.     St Louis Rams (from WAS) – Kendall Reyes, DT, UCONN

Reasoning: The Rams defensive middle is absolutely soft, they need a D-Tackle to fill it up, That’s where Kendall steps in.

40.      Carolina Panthers – Jayron Hosley, CB, Virginia Tech

Reasoning: Chris Ramble is aging, and they ranked dead last in YPA(8.4) they also have absolutely nothing across from Gamble.

41.      Buffalo Bills – Kevin Zeitler, G/T, Wisconsin

Reasoning: Again if the Bills plan to compete in the AFC East they need to protect their signal caller so he can get the ball to Floyd and Johnson.

42.      Miami Dolphins – Ryan Tannehill, QB, Texas A&M

Reasoning: Not only do they get their number one wide receiver in round one but they also get they Quarterback they wanted a round later, great value and possibly a huge steal.

43.      Seattle Seahawks – Ronnell Lewis, OLB, Oklahoma

Reasoning: The Seahawks have lost two very skilled linebackers in Hawthorne and Hill, they’re going to need some new linebackers to start, Ronnel was a monster at the combine and his pro day.

44.      Kansas City Chiefs – Brandon Thompson, DT, Clemson

Reasoning: Kelly Gregg turns 36 this year and that middle was pretty weak, they did have a decent defense, this may complete it.

45.      Dallas Cowboys – Philip Blake, C, Baylor

Reasoning: Phill Costas can’t play center again for Dallas, he was horrid, Blake had a great pro day and he always protected RG3 to perfection.

46.      Philadelphia Eagles – Mike Martin, DT, Michigan

Reasoning: The Eagles need to plug up the middle if they ever want to stop the run.

47.      New York Jets – Bobby Massie, OT, Ole Miss

Reasoning: Wayne Hunter can’t play tackle again, he is absolutely horrible, he gave up 11 sacks and 11 penalties in the 2011 season.
