Andrew Luck deciding to go back to Stanford so they had to find the next best QB in this 2011 NFL Draft and Blaine Gabbert seems to be this guy. I currently have him ranked as my top QB in my most recent 2011 NFL Mock Draft. However, I would not be surprised to see a QB like Cam Newton, Jake Locker, Ryan Mallett or even now Colin Kaepernick jump him in the NFL Draft 2011. But for the time I have Gabbert as the top rated QB in my 2011 NFL Mock Draft because of his size and quick release. He played in a spread offense so this may shy certain coaches away but the only QB in this group that was a true pro style QB was Locker who is shown to be very inconsistent. I think this NFL Draft class is wide open.
