This year the Tulane Running Back Matt Forte is showing that he is a real time scout.  Forte went to the scouting day last year and the scouts told Forte that he was projected as a 6th round pick even after running a sub 4.6- 40 yard dash.  Look for Forte to definately go between jump up in the draft and go between rounds 3-5 this year because of the amazing senior year he is having.  Forte has dreamed about being the NFL some day so he worked on his speed and his physical build.  It is said that Forte ended up running a 4.45 this summer while working on his speed.  Forte may be considered as a tough pick because Tulane doesn’t play against the best competition.  This year so far Forte has  5 games where he has rushed over 200 yards in.  Forte has 1,539 yards so far this year and 15 touchdowns which is one of the top in the NCAA so far this year.  Some people even have Forte as a top 5 for the Heisman because of the amazing senior run he is having.  Look for this guy to be an all around back in the NFL and if he gets the chance to play this year to continue where he left off and be productive.
