2009 NFL Mock Draft 55-64

December 22nd, 2008 · No Comments

Round 1Round 2Round 3Round 4Round 5

55. Dallas Cowboys: Kenny Brit, WR, Rutgers

The Boys don’t really have a great #2 or #3 receiver which hurts Tony Romo in the passing game. So if Brit can come in and be a good #2 receiver like Terry Glenn was I believe they will be a top tier team once again in the 2009 NFL Season.

56. GB Packers(Jets): Russell Okung, OT, Ok St.

Okung may be a much higher pick in the 2009 NFL Draft but as of now he isn’t being talked about that much so we will have to wait and see what happens with his workouts. The Packers could use an upgrade to their offensive line to help their running game.

57. Atlanta Falcons: Jermaine Gresham, TE, OU

This could be a little far for Gresham to fall but he is a one dimensional TE…. He is a receiving TE.  He doesn’t really have the frame to be a blocker in the NFL So he will be drafted as a receiving TE.  If he performs well in the 2009 NFL Draft Combine look for him to jump into the first round of the draft.

58. Indianapolis Colts: Darry Beckwith, ILB, LSU

The Colts help their Defense and hopefully Beckwith can help with stopping the run in the 2009 NFL Season.

59. Baltimore Ravens: Javon Ringer, RB, Mich St.

The Ravens don’t really have an every down RB in Mgahee. I personally think they should let him go and use Mclain and Ringer to further develop. I know they have a couple young RB’s already but if Ringer falls this far he will be to good to pass up.

60. TB Buccaneers: C.J Spiller, RB, Clemson

The Bucs get a very gifted every down RB in C J Spiller.  He didn’t have a great season but he has the potential to be a great NFL Player. Look for the Bucs to get someone that is able to run the ball on every down.

61. Carolina Panthers: Dorell Scott, DT, Clemson

The Panthers have proven to be very good in the 2008 NFL Season. I have them taking the best player available to add depth to their run game.

62. Pittsburgh Steelers: Fenuki Tupou, OT, OR

The Steelers started running the ball well and now they are struggling to move it on the ground and protect Big Ben. The Steelers get him more protection up front for the 2009 NFL Season.

63. Tennessee Titans: Vince Oghobaase, DT, Duke

Albert Haynesworth might not be in Nashville for the 2009 NFL Season and they need to get someone to replace him or try to. Vince is a very good DT that could at least add depth to their D-Line.

64. NY Giants: Auston English, DE, OU

Once again the Giants add more depth to their offensive line taking a great athlete in Auston English for the 2009 NFL Season.
