2009 NFL Mock Draft 44-54

December 22nd, 2008 · No Comments

Round 1Round 2Round 3Round 4Round 5

44. Houston Texans:  Herman Johnson, G, LSU

The Texans build their Offensive Line with a good Guard who can help their running game.

45. Buffalo Bills: Jonathan Luigs, C, Arkansas

The Bills have had trouble with their Center all year. They finally land a good one here with Luigs from Arkansas.  The Bills have a lot of potential they need to build from the inside out.  The 2009 NFL Draft is very important for them if they want to be good in the future.

46. Chicago Bears: Mike Mickens, CB, Cincy

The Bears get a very under rate CB in the 2009 NFL Draft. Mickens is a very good CB that could help this aging defense.

47. NY Giants(Saints): Emanuel Cook, SS, SC

The Giants add depth to their secondary with Cook in the 2009 NFL Draft.

48. Philadelphia Eagles: Evander Hood, DT, Mizzou

The Eagles help their D- Line with this pick and hopefully Hood helps with stopping the run in the 2009 NFL Season.

49. Miami Dolphins: Jauquin Iglesias, WR, OU

The Dolphins increase their weapons bye taking a play making WR in Iglesias.  The 2009 NFL Draft could switch from a good team to a great team.

50. NE Patriots: Jared Cook, TE, SC

The Patriots add to their already good receiving core bye adding this great TE. Some people have him as the top TE in the 2009 NFL Draft. In this Mock Draft I have him falling a little bit but ending up on a team where he could be a great play maker.

51. Miami Dolphins (Skins): Matt Shaugnessy, DE, Wisconsin

The Dolphins help their defense by drafting a young play maker in the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft.

52. Denver Broncos: Tyrone McKenzie, OLB, SF

The Broncos defense is on and off and they need to be more consistent. They just lost a very important game to the Bills, one of the worst teams in the NFL this year.

53. Arizona Cardinals: Phil Loadholt, OT, OU

The Cardinals get a young experienced Tackle to help Hightower and the Edge on the ground. Loadholt has a lot of experience from a great college program.

54. Minnesota Vikings: Victor Harris, CB, VT

The Vikings are a very good young team and they get younger and better bye taking this pick in the 2009 NFL Draft.
