2010 NFL Mock Draft 12-22

September 8th, 2009 · No Comments

12. Jacksonville Jaguars: Tim Tebow, QB, Florida

The Jaguars need to start filling their stadium up with fans and the only way to do that is win more games or get some exciting players. Tim Tebow is a local boy who will definitely bring people to the stadium. I don’t have Tebow as one my top rated 2010 NFL Mock Draft QB’s but I think he would be a good fit in Del Rio’s offense.

13. Tennessee Titans: Greg Hardy, DE, Ole Miss

The Titans seem to need a lot of help…especially after how they started this season. However, they always seem to find some good players to fit into their system so I trust Fisher. Hardy is a good pass rushing end who can help them get younger at the position. Look for the Titans to make a turn around in the second half of the season and then completely rebound in the 2010 NFL Season.

14. Miami Dolphins: Carlos Dunlap, DE, Florida

The Dolphins get a great player here who could easily be a top 5 pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. In this 2010 NFL Mock Draft I have him falling a little bit because of lack of production and size. He is a great speed rusher who could learn a lot from Jason Taylor in the 2010 NFL Season. Look for him to work out very well at the 2010 NFL Draft Combine as well.

15. Green Bay Packers: Bryan Bulaga, OT, Iowa

The Packers have some good weapons on offense including Rodgers and Grant. However, neither of these players have been protected because of the weak offensive line play. Bulaga is my 2nd ranked OT in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft and he should be an immediate starter for the Pack.

16. Cincinnati Bengals: Jahvid Best, RB, CAL

The Bengals have played well this year so far with Cedric Benson and Carson Palmer turning things around. I think Benson can continue to be the interior runner for the 2010 NFL Season but I think they need to get another RB who can be a more versatile RB. Best is a very good RB who can do it all. I have him as my 2nd Running Back in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft but I think he is the most versatile back in this Draft.

17. Houston Texans: Brandon Lafell, WR, LSU

The Texans have been pretty good so far this year…especially Andre Johnson. However, I think if they add another top WR they could have an elite receiving core making them an elite offense. Look for Lafell to be a top 25 pick as he is in the top 20 in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft.

18. Arizona Cardinals: Trent Williams, OT, Oklahoma

Arizona has had a so so year but it looks like San Francisco has stepped up as the big dog in the division. However, the Tackle they drafted from before was meant to block the blind side of Leinart so he is playing right tackle for the Cards. I have them taking Trent Williams here to play Left Tackle for the Cardinals to protect Warners blind side. Williams is a top tier player who is going to go high in the 2010 NFL Draft.

19. Philadelphia Eagles: Joe Haden, CB, Florida

The Eagles get a good CB here who could help with their already good crew. Haden is the top CB in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft and potentially a top 15 pick based on need.

20. Seattle Seahawks (Denver): Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma

The Seahwaks need a QB of the future to take over for the oft injured Matt H.I have Bradford falling to them in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft because of the offseason surgery. He is still a top tier QB we just don’t know how he is going to come back after the surgery. Look for him to waiver a little bit until he works out again for scouts.

10. Dallas Cowboys: Arrelious Benn, WR, ILL

Though their WR’s have come on of late I think they still could use a good WR. If they continue to be succesfull then in my next 2010 NFL Mock Draft I will have them going after someone else.

22. Denver Broncos (Chicago): Colt McCoy, QB, Texas

Kyle Orton hasn’t been bad this year but he isn’t the playmaker the Broncos need to be a top tier team. If they get McCoy here and let him sit for a year or 2 he could be a good player. He is a very accurate QB who can make plays with his feet as well. Look for him to be a mid to late first round pick much like he is in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft.
